A silver retriever (a close cousin to the well known Golden Retriever), has been bred near the Peñasquito mine in Mexico. Reports are stating that the pup (whose name is Maui) is a cross breed between a Silver Labrador and a Golden Retriever. If this is true, this would be the very first live birth between these two dog breeds.
As you can see from the pictures below, the pup looks very similar to a golden retriever. The only difference is the silky gray fur. The report of this silver golden retriever was first released by @WeRateDogs on Twitter.
