Some symptoms of bleach poisoning include vomiting, nausea, stomach pain and excessive drooling.
Antifreeze
Another harmful household items that must be kept away from dogs is antifreeze. A small amount of this may cause damage to the dog’s kidney. It is important that antifreezers are kept away from dogs.
Insecticides
These should be kept in a locked cabinet or on a high shelf and not just anywhere in the home, some of these are flea and tick products, rat poison and other insecticides.
Laundry detergents and Cleaners
If items like detergent, polish, soap, and disinfectants are kept under the kitchen sink, always ensure to dog-proof the cabinet. This will keep these items safe and cannot be taken out by your dog.
